The latest Installment of HALO is finally here and it's Bungie's last attempt at the HALO series; lets see how they did?
Gameplay:
The gameplay is far more superior compared to any of the Halo games, fast paced and accurate shooting make the campaign and online more enjoyable but not easier. The original weapons have also been sort of 'upgraded' whereas they will be tuned damaged wise, the pistol is now kick ass!
Another cool feature Bungie added is the takedowns when you equip a energy sword you can do a special move to take down your opponent for instance you run up behind them and plunge your sword deep into them!
Most of the controls have stayed the same to the previous Halo games.
Graphics/Bugs:
The graphics are slightly improved but are still not 'amazing' throughout the game I saw tons of frame rate lag; the screen would just freeze for a second but its not as noticeable as Halo 3.
Few bugs but nothing terrible, textures ect.
Multiplayer:
The multiplayer is extremely fun, Bungie introduced a new system where Matchmaking with match you to groups of your skill level instead of throwing you into a random team of people. Making the experience way more enjoyable, instead of leveling up to get weapons you will now have to buy them using credits which you can earn by playing games and doing challenges. The credits can be used to unlock guns, armor, cool effects for your armor (Helmet without visor with skull and blue flames = AWESOME) and you can also buy different voices for your online character including Sgt. Johnson, Master Chief and Cortana.
Story:
Halo: Reach is a prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved, detailing what happened in the days leading up to the destruction of Reach, Master Chief does NOT cameo or appear in Halo: Reach, instead you play as Noble 6. The story starts when you are asked to carry out a mission investigating strange reports of monsters and creatures roaming the farmland of Reach. When you finally find the so called monsters they are revealed to be a far greater threat- the Covenant.
The story is way more adapted and action packed compared to any of the other Halo games, making it extremely fun and awesome to play. There are certainly some scenes that will leave you in awe.
Conclusion:
Overall Halo: Reach is a fun, action packed experience; with a great story and a fantastic online gameplay; defiantly worth buying!
THAT IS AWSOME , even thought the campaign is a bit weak. After getting the game for £34 three days early from this site , its been the only game i can play.
