New Characters:
Super Streey Fighter IV is an updated version of the original Street Fighter IV, but is it worth your money?
The biggest difference you will notice in SSFIV is the 10 additional character added to the roster. 8 of these characters are fan favourites from previous SF games, such as Dudley, Makoto and Guy along with others. Two brand new characters make there SF debut the sinister Juri and red oil wrestler Hakan. These are both great addition to the roster and both have unique play styles, Hakan in particullar is a very fun character to play. All of the characters added to the roster are welcome additions that will take you a very long time to master.
The arcade mode has also seen some slight tweeks, with each character now having a different rival battle, which is a nice little addition. Two bonus stages that SF fans will be familiar with have made their return. The car and barrel bonus stages are as fun as ever and the best part is you can play them whenever you want aslong as you have played them once in arcade mode!
Online mode has some adjustments too. You can now fith in lobbies of up to 8 people, the winner of the match keeps playing and the loser goes to the back of the line. This is great fun with friends as you can have a good laugh and trash talk all match. Team battle is the second new online mode, which has you teaming up with other players for up to 4 vs 4 battles. Ranked match is pretty much the same, but BP and PP have been added. PP shows how many points the player has based on how many matches he has won and BP shows how many points they have earned with a specific character.
Online mode is definately I spend the most time on and with the addition of the new characters makes it more enjoyable than ever before! If you own SFIV don't hesitate to buy this game you won't regret it. If you are new to the SF universe this is the game to start with!
